Who is Carlos Sánchez really?

I’m from Cartagena (Murcia) and I am 32 years old. To be honest, I’ve always been a very curious person, which is why I started learning programming when I was 13. Later on, I began applying that knowledge to web development. However, I always saw it as a hobby, because I was afraid of losing my passion for it if I treated it as a job.

There came a point when my curiosity grew even further, and I was no longer interested only in how websites worked—I wanted to know how those websites were made visible and discoverable by others. After all, in most cases, that is a website’s ultimate goal.

This led me to start in the world of SEO, specifically as an intern at a software company in Germany in 2016. Since then, I have been improving and progressing professionally in this field.

My professional experience, together with my programming background, has allowed me to better understand how websites and search engines really work.

I had to learn everything on my own and I ran into a lot of misinformation. Although there is plenty of information you can find about SEO, it isn’t so easy to get it right when it comes to technical SEO.

What I hope for you, the visitor to this website, is to save you part of the journey that this initial learning curve involves, and to guide you so that—unlike me—you don’t waste time on so much information overload and can spend it on knowledge that will truly help you.
